Facebook app not updating status
It’s possible that you’re using a third-party app to view your Facebook data, and that third party app itself could be having problems.
Facebook’s News Feed algorithm is in a constant state of flux.Facebook users across the world were left without access to the social media site over the weekend after the Facebook for Android app stopped working.Users were confronted with the error message that “Facebook has stopped” when attempting to open the app, which appeared to affect Android customers.The latest download doesn’t go in to great detail about what exactly it offers, simply noting that it provides “Improvements for reliability and speed.However the download notes note that the Facebook app has now moved on to version 220.127.116.11.68, as opposed to the previous 18.104.22.168.337 build.Delete the cache to force the new system to create new ones. Somehow icons and graphics from apps are getting saved to my phone. Literally hundreds of icons, graphics, and small videos are hidden in my phone.
Every time I backup photos from my phone to my computer, at least a hundred app related images transfer over, mostly from Podcast Addict.
If available, the update will be listed on the Facebook app page, or found in your “My Apps and Games” menu.
Facebook says that the issue should now be resolved for all its Android users, but isn’t revealing what exactly happened to cause the app to crash.
On the other hand, when this type of problem happens to me, there are various steps I’ll try to get the app to work again so I can get back to doing what I need to on Facebook, or even in the Facebook Messenger app for that matter.
